Chamber Committee TEAMS
Red-Carpet:
The Red-Carpet team is dedicated to promoting the growth of the chamber by attracting new members as well as retaining existing ones. Our goal is to demonstrate the value of Chamber membership by promoting the needs of our current members while increasing the Chamber’s visibility to the business’ community.
- Implement member retention programs and recruit new members.
- Mentor new members, attend Ribbon Cuttings, and assist in greeting guests at events.
- Provide a Recognition programs for anniversaries and leadership and Business of the Month and year.
- Strategize how to grow the chamber.

- Liverpool is the Place: Sub-Team:
- Chair Colleen Gunnip, 315-652-5029, colleen.gunnip@gmail.com.
- Liverpool is the Place (LITP) is a sub-committee of the Greater Liverpool Chamber of Commerce.
- The purpose of LITP is to present cultural events, encourage sponsorship of these events, raise funds for programming and to bring together all ages and people of varied interest to the community of Greater Liverpool. LITP runs the summer concert series in Johnson Park, as well as the concerts in the library.
- Marketing Team:
- The Marketing team serves as a THINK TANK to assist the Executive Director, the Board of Directors and the other teams in promoting events and activities sponsored by the Chamber. The Marketing team provides enhanced opportunities for communication and connection, business to business and business to community.
- The strategy includes promoting awareness via internet, print, broadcast and social media.
- Marketing will help with exposure to obtain market expansion and to build customer loyalty.
- Provide material for the Newsletter and Facebook.
- Promote the chamber and events and programs.

Fundraising is by event (Golf Outing, Trunk or Treat, and others)
- A willingness to make phone calls, meet with businesses
- Create ideas to implement for each event.
- Recruit Volunteers, food and other vendors
- Willingness to have FUN while creating and implementing the event(s)
