Erin’s Angels

We are currently facing a critical need for a Backpack Coordinator to manage and oversee the distribution of meals to children experiencing food insecurity in the Phoenix Central School District. This position is vital for ensuring that our students receive the necessary nutrition over weekends and holidays. Without immediate support, many children may go without essential meals.

Key responsibilities are listed below. Given the urgency of our situation, we are seeking someone who is organized, compassionate, and ready to make a significant impact in our community.

If you, or someone you know, are able to help or know of potential candidates who might be interested in this role, please contact Candy Herbert ( and Jackie Flint ( as soon as possible. Additionally, any assistance in spreading the word about this urgent need within your networks would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your attention and support. Together, we can ensure that no child in the Phoenix School District goes hungry!
